What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy is a rehabilitation profession which assists an individual to reach his/her optimal level of functioning in the areas of school (work), leisure (sports, play) and/or activities of daily living or self-care (dressing, eating, etc). It addresses the whole child including: physical and psychological components.
We work together with families to foster carry over at home and meet each families individual needs. Our areas of specialty include, but are not limited to the following:
- sensory integration disorders
- sensory processing issues
- down's syndrome attention
- improve body and safety awareness
- improve organizaiton, focus and attention
- challenges with age appropriate skills
Services Offered: Comprehensive Evaluations, Individual sessions (one to one ratio), School Visits, Home Visits, Parent Education, Play Therapy
